1. Agreement and operator
These terms form an agreement between you and Steven Dickinson, trading as Stream Collections ("Stream Collections", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Questions can be sent to support@steveyde.co.uk. Our address for business and legal correspondence is 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 and meet Twitch's age and account requirements.
- If local law requires parental or guardian consent, you may use the service only with that consent.
- You must use your own Twitch account and keep it secure.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for promptly reporting unauthorised access.
- Information you provide must be accurate and must not impersonate another person or organisation.
3. The service
Stream Collections lets creators publish digital collection books and lets collectors join collections, complete criteria, earn stamps, view progress, and use related Twitch experiences. Features may include Channel Points check-ins, creator awards, secret codes, scan links, recovery options, overlays, leaderboards, artwork tools, subscriptions, and creator payout services.
Features may be introduced, changed, tested, limited, or withdrawn. Beta and test features may be incomplete and may contain errors. We do not guarantee that a particular collection, stamp, integration, or creator will remain available indefinitely.
4. Twitch and third-party services
Stream Collections uses Twitch authentication and may interact with Twitch channels, Channel Points, subscriptions, follows, chat, and Extension identity. Twitch is a separate service governed by Twitch's own terms and policies. Stream Collections is not endorsed by or part of Twitch unless expressly stated by Twitch.
Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, OpenAI, and linked creator services may also apply their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages, account decisions, policy changes, or content outside our control.
5. Creator responsibilities
Creators are responsible for the collections and community experiences they operate. Creators must:
- have the rights and permissions needed for names, descriptions, artwork, links, clips, and other content they publish;
- describe earning criteria, availability, costs, limitations, and rewards accurately;
- not manipulate Twitch rewards, collector progress, payments, giveaways, or community activity deceptively;
- moderate their content and remove unlawful, infringing, dangerous, or abusive material;
- follow Twitch rules and all laws applying to promotions, prizes, taxes, consumer rights, and their community; and
- keep creator controls, overlay links, tokens, codes, and connected accounts secure.
6. Content and licence
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Stream Collections a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for display, transmit, and show that content as needed to operate, secure, promote, and improve the service. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except where continued storage is reasonably required for backups, transaction history, disputes, legal obligations, or collection records already issued to collectors.
You must not submit confidential personal information or content you do not have permission to use. Content submitted to optional AI features may be sent to the named AI provider to perform the requested generation or edit.
7. Stamps, progress, and digital collectibles
- Stamps and collection progress are digital service records, not physical goods, currency, securities, or NFTs.
- They have no cash value and cannot be sold, exchanged, or transferred unless Stream Collections expressly provides that feature.
- Creators control their collection criteria and availability, but may not override platform security, payment, or fairness rules.
- We may correct duplicate, fraudulent, technically erroneous, or improperly awarded progress.
- Availability can depend on Twitch, creator activity, dates, location-independent claim conditions, and connected service status.
8. Gems, Twitch Bits, payments, subscriptions, and refunds
Gems are limited-use digital credits for eligible Stream Collections features. Gems are not money, cryptocurrency, stored value, or property, and cannot be redeemed for cash by collectors. They are non-transferable except where the service expressly allows a transaction.
Prices, included features, creator allocations, platform charges, taxes, renewal terms, and cancellation options are shown at or before purchase. Stripe processes payments. Creator earnings remain subject to verification, platform charges, refunds, disputes, reserves, taxes, payout eligibility, and applicable law.
Within the Twitch Extension, eligible digital stamp unlocks may be exchanged for Twitch Bits through Twitch's native confirmation flow. Twitch controls the collector's Bits balance, confirmation, and settlement. The amount displayed by Twitch at confirmation is authoritative. Stream Collections verifies Twitch's signed transaction receipt before fulfilling the corresponding stamp unlock. Bits are not Gems, are never credited to a Stream Collections wallet, and cannot be redeemed through Stream Collections for cash.
Unless the purchase screen or law says otherwise, completed digital-credit use and delivered digital content are not refundable merely because you change your mind. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights. If a feature was not delivered, was materially defective, or a payment was unauthorised, contact us promptly.
9. Acceptable use
You must not:
- break the law, Twitch rules, or another person's rights;
- harass, threaten, exploit, mislead, or discriminate against others;
- upload malware, harmful code, unlawful content, or material that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights;
- automate claims, manipulate progress, abuse rewards, evade limits, create fraudulent transactions, or interfere with fair collection activity;
- probe, bypass, reverse engineer, or interfere with security, access controls, rate limits, tokens, or service infrastructure, except where law expressly permits;
- resell, sublicense, scrape, or commercially exploit the service or its data without written permission; or
- use Stream Collections to advertise unrelated products, operate gambling, or promote NFTs.
10. Our intellectual property
Stream Collections, its software, interfaces, original graphics, themes, branding, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.
11. Moderation, suspension, and termination
We may remove content, limit features, reverse improper progress, suspend accounts, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, creators, third parties, Twitch integrations, or the service; respond to legal requirements; investigate fraud or security incidents; or enforce these terms. Where practical, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us.
You may stop using the service at any time and revoke Twitch permissions. Account deletion requests may be sent to support. Records that must be retained for financial, legal, anti-fraud, dispute, or collection-history reasons may remain after account closure.
12. Availability and disclaimers
We aim to provide a reliable service, but Stream Collections is provided on an "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent availability of content, compatibility with every device, or that third-party integrations will always function.
Creator-run collections and content are the creator's responsibility. Stream Collections does not guarantee the value, fairness, quality, availability, or outcome of a creator's collection, giveaway, or community activity.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunity, loss caused by third-party services, or loss caused by your breach of these terms or failure to secure your account.
For business users, our total liability arising from the service in any 12-month period will not exceed the amount that user paid Stream Collections during that period. This business-user limit does not apply to consumers where it would be unlawful or unfair.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect service, legal, security, or commercial changes. Material changes will be highlighted where practical. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms; if you do not accept them, you must stop using the service.
15. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except that consumers retain any mandatory rights to bring claims in their home jurisdiction. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver.
